Trip To The Metro

On 19th.April.2012 we, accounting class & the teacher "Indrani", went for a trip that is organised from the last semester which the "Metro".

This trip was divided into two parts, one was having a brief introduction about the Metro through a presentation then the second part which was having a tour on the Metro starting from Rashidya Station to Al Ittihad Station.

Sports

As I posted earlier about my interest in poetry, today I will share with you my second interest which is sports. Since I was a child I used to love sport classes and I've always been the leader of a group where they follow my steps after the teacher’s instructions. I am usually one of the players who are chosen to perform in front of the audience continuously. We used to do some exercises with and without balls, in pairs and individually. Unfortunately I never joined a club to enhance my sport skills it was only in the school until the school stopped giving sports classes.

Later on when I joined DWC, the gym attracted me a lot and I was very interested in the games they have such as badminton, table tennis and basketball, beside a new game that I always wanted to play which is squash. I practiced squash with my friend and sometimes alone, so when the sports day came my friend and I played squash in a way that made the instructors proud. Moreover table tennis instructors where also amazed with my playing because I didn’t let the ball go for maybe 5 minutes =).

In addition I did cycling and had a great tour around the campus, a year later I wanted to do the same but sadly I broke my hand after a minute or two of starting to ride the cycle and I couldn’t enjoy the sports day =(.

Now I became very lazy as a result of not having any partner to join my happiness. I really need to encourage myself to do some exercises in order to be active again.

Poetry

Today I will talk about one of my interests

As a UAE National, one of our traditions is poetry and I discovered that I'm also interested in Poetry when I was in grade 9 or even before. When I was in school I always loved to read poetry and my teachers liked the way of my reading. Then later on I tried to write some lines starting from 2 lines, then by time I reached to write about 12 to 15 lines.But my writing always when I'm in full emotion, whether am sad or happy and as you know emotions is the way of describing that converted in a meaningful poem. Whenever it comes to poetry I like to listen and try to understand it's meaning. To enhance this interest I'm following some Arabic poets in twitter. I never focused on other languages but I believe that poetry is beautiful in whatever language because it comes directly from the heart.

Sisters' Hang Out

2nd.April.2011

What am I going to talk about today is one of the enjoyable day of 2011

On this day my sister, cousin sisters and I decided to have fun for a whole day which is not an usual act .. anyways so we decided to watch a movie then lunch and shopping. We used the metro for our trip and stopped at Dubai Mall

But unfortunately something stupid happened when we went for a movie, my elder cousin sister was not allowed to enter the movie just because she was short and she looks like teenager and unluckily she didn't have her national ID or any card with her to proof that she is not teenager which disappointed our first step toward the joy.

But we moved on, first we went around the mall and enjoyed the view of the aquarium with different types and sizes of fish and the water fall in the middle of the mall

Then went for a delicious lunch as everyone choose their favorable food such as Iranian food or McDonald's

After that we went to Sharjah toward "Al Qasba'a Channel" and rode a boat to go around and have a photo-shoot. The weather was amazing that made our tour wonderful

MoOny's Birthday Party

This was my Friend's 22nd Birthday Party where we had a blast. We celebrated her party in Houbara Golf Club Hall

It was mainly a dancing party so we've rocked the floor with all kind of songs; Indian, Arabic, English and Spanish. It was really a great day
